Hi there, friends of i58!
Well, we’ve just finished three weeks of this new semester and if one thing stands out among so many, for me it would be TEAM POWER. With God we are never alone. With God we can do all things. With God He is enough for all we face.
The simple truth that God is for us and not against us, that He loves us, is enough to change our lives.
The paradox is that even though He desires us for Himself, (no idols before Him), He generously gives us wonderful Christian friends to journey through life, through seasons, through trials.
Every semester, God puts a whole new team together at Capernwray, a team that He selects from all around the world. Then through the power of His Spirit, He opens our eyes to what He’s doing, both in our lives individually and in the community at large. It is our response to Him and to these people, (who we may not always like immediately), that determines our own growth.
At Capernwray we work in lots of different groups / teams; work-day, music ministry, church, family, guys / girls, SN@C, free-time, all in all we are learning the power of unity, of being of one mind and purpose as well as respecting our individualism.
God is so good!
